Most rarely align with their true power, because it seems illogical to them that there is power in relaxation, in letting go, or in love or joy or bliss. Most people do not understand that their true power lies in releasing resistance—which is the only obstacle to their true power.

Most people do not expect their path to great abundance to be one of ease and of joy. They have been taught that struggle and hardship and sacrifice are requirements that must be met before the reward of great abundance can be realized. Most do not understand that the very struggle they deliberately involve themselves in, in their quest for success and advantage, actually works against them.

There are so many things that you have been taught to believe that are counter to the powerful Laws of the Universe that it is difficult for you to think your way out. And that is the reason that we present this path of much less resistance.

We want you to breathe rather than try, to relax rather than offer effort, to smile rather than struggle, to be rather than do. For your true power is experienced only from inside the Vortex. ~ Abraham

“Placing the blame or judgment on someone else leaves you powerless to change your experience. Taking responsibility for your beliefs and judgments gives you the power to change them.” – Byron Katie     Use your words to bless your future.

“How many of your issues stem from ‘other people’? When you realize you are the common denominator amongst all of your experiences, it is about you, not ‘them’. This empowers you, because healing is in your hands, not ‘theirs’. When we blame we give away our power. When we take ownership, we heal.”

Finding Inner Authority

The more unstable life seems, the more we gravitate toward the “security” promised by authority figures.

We marry authority figures, elect them, go to their churches and join their cults.

When these people are unmasked and discredited we learn to take our power back and pick up the pieces of our lives.

Whenever we uproot ourselves to follow the empty promises of others, we tend to get beaten up by our experiences.

Then, we return to our lives humbled, shovels in hand, and begin the work of planting our own garden.

Those who abandon their roots will learn to find them. Those who have sought authority in other people will learn to find it in themselves. ~ From Everyday Wisdom by Paul Ferrini

It is going to take a miracle because you are the self that keeps you from knowing your Self. Everything you do to further support, assert and defend your self only serves to make knowing your Self seem even more difficult. So it is not the seeking but the miracle that reveals the Truth. And it is the intention, wanting, yearning and commitment of the seeker that makes way for the miracle.

Just see… Nothing is actually affecting you when you just observe, when you don’t say, ‘This should not be.’ Pay attention to this wonderful power within you that simply observes without judgment, intention and attachment. Feel that space and peace. Give it a chance. ~ Mooji

We are awake in the dream when we know that it is just dreaming and we are no longer deceived – we no longer give it meaning or judge it in any way. Awake enough to see glimmerings of light beyond the appearances. Awake enough to be aware of love and joy for no earthly reason.

Thoughts and Quotes for Today 2.27.14 February 27, 2014

1. “There is a huge amount of freedom that comes to you when you take nothing personally.” ~Don Miguel Ruiz

2. Experiencing Joy: You cannot experience Joy in Life  by following or opposing the ideas and actions of other people.  You experience Joy only by remaining faithful to the truth within your own heart. ~ Paul Ferrini

3. That romantic, special and exclusive one-on-one stuff that the world has taught us is love is not love at all. It’s just an attempt at ego support and defense (but it does offer valuable learning opportunities). Real love is not special or exclusive in any way. It demands nothing in return. Real love extends to, embraces and includes all without exception.

4. Just a reminder: Be not tempted to see yourself as unfairly treated. Don’t blame, judge, condemn, fear or attack. Don’t compare or compete. Don’t correct or try to fix your brother. That’s not your job. Forgive and ask for help to see the Christ in the other. Greet each other with a smile. Treat each other as you would want to be treated. Love one another. Let this be the essence of your spiritual practice, for it is only your Self that you meet and it is your Self that you would find and know.

5. Today We Affirm: I expect a day of answered prayers and open doors. I am aligned with the Divine Presence, radiating clarity, poise, peace and Power. Everything I need comes to me easily, effortlessly and in perfect timing. I enjoy working with Life to create my world each day. There is nothing too good to be true, nothing that cannot happen for me or through me. I greet each day with love and joy in my heart and Life expresses goodness through me. I look for and find the good in all people I meet today. I call it forth by my Holy Intention. Through me, Life is creating a wonderful day of answered prayers and limitless good for all.

6. This is a POWERFUL AUDIO of Byron Katie doing “The Work” with a Lovely woman on judging her friend for being “negative” I love the laughter and Joy that comes from questioning our “stressful” thoughts http://www.thework.com/audio/bestfriendnegative.mp3
