1. I had an abusive relationship once and I found a way out. That relationship was with myself. ~ Byron Katie

2. Self Nurturing is far more than pampering, it’s about returning Home to your Heart… Brene Brown

3. We are sensitive to the suffering of others because our awareness has expanded and become more inclusive. The next step is to transform that suffering by bringing light into the darkness rather than letting that pain pull us down into the swamp of sadness and suffering.

4. We may not be able to control every situation and its outcome, but you can control your attitude and how you deal with it. 4

1. “The Dance is about finding ways to let our essential nature guide our choices and our actions. It’s about honestly looking at the times when it is hard for us to remember and be guided by who we really are- the times when we are tired and hurt, frightened and angry. It’s about the places in this culture where it is easy to become confused about who we are – when we are dealing with money and sex and death and power.” ~ Oriah Mountain Dreamer from THE DANCE

Ah yes, the places where we sink into unconsciousness. How to stay awake to what we are? Well, in part it helps to accept that human beings repeatedly go to sleep & wake up. Oh, I don’t mean to suggest that we can’t ever learn to be more frequently awake – only that trying “harder” won’t necessarily work, & may just stir the fears that make going unconscious likely. It is a steady, gentle practice finding our own way of coming back to center, of grounding & checking in with ourselves, of calming anxiety & letting ourselves BE here. Whether we pray or meditation, follow our breath or consciously move & ground our body. . . . or all of these and more. . . we can come home to ourselves a thousand times a day.

2. OUR MOST FRAGILE VULNERABILITY: If we are able to travel to the very center of our deepest vulnerability, around which we have built up many layers of defenses, and allow it to be there – without doing anything with it, something miraculous will happen. While it will smart initially, travelling to the center of our vulnerability and allowing it to be, will initiate a growth in stature within. When we realize we can give up our most cherished defenses, what we thought was going to flounder and die will actually rise up, much like a tightly-bound bud springing up into bloom at the first sight of Light and Love. So go there now. As we do so, our courage will be rewarded a thousandfold. And if you would like a hand with it, let me know.  Thanks Daniel..

3. The goal of our spiritual journey is not about being a successful human being having more serial adventures in space/time. It is about going beyond illusions – beyond that mistaken idea of being a separate mind contained in a body seemingly living in a world of opposites, separation and death. It’s about becoming aware of our Self as an infinite and eternal being.

4. Miracles transcend the body. They are sudden shifts into invisibility, away from the bodily level. That is why they heal. ACIM T-1 I.17

1. “You may believe that you are responsible for what you do, but not for what you think. The truth is that you are responsible for what you think, because it is only at this level that you can exercise choice. What you do comes from what you think. ”  ~Marianne Williamson

2. “Love and forgiveness is actually a state of mind, not something you do in certain cases. It’s about what you hold and live and the kind of truth you can say lovingly.” James Redfield

3. “I wonder how many people don’t get the one they want, but end up with the one they’re supposed to be with.”  ~ Fannie Flagg, Fried Green Tomatoes at the Whistle Stop Cafe

4. Like an actor playing a role we have chosen a role for our life. But we have forgotten we can change our role any time we like.

5. Our thoughts are doorways. Loving thoughts bring US home to Love. Every room feels safe. Fearful thoughts bring US into the dungeon of fear. And every thought attracts more allies like it. Today, we can choose where we place our life-giving focus.

1. Be Aware of the temptation to make your problems your identity.

2. “The whole world is you. Yet you keep thinking there is something else.” ~ Hsueh Feng

3. Note to self: Be aware, we will be tempted again and again to believe that we are being unfairly treated. If we buy into it our heart will start pounding and our mind will endlessly spew out thoughts of attack and defense. We don’t really want to go down that road again. It’s a sick place to be. We wrote the script. It’s time to see this. Do what needs to be done, but the reality of it does not justify all the emotional upset. This is the vicious cycle until we re-member to choose differently…

4. “A teacher of fear can’t bring peace on Earth. We have been trying to do it that way for thousands of years. The person who turns inner violence around, the person who finds peace inside and lives it, is the one who teaches what true peace is. We are waiting for just one teacher. You’re the one.”  Ms Katie

5. Believe in your heart that something wonderful is about to happen. Love your Life. Believe in your own powers, in your own potential, and your own goodness. Wake up every morning with the awe of being alive. Live this day well…
