1. “You don’t have to believe everything your thoughts tell you. Just become familiar with the particular thoughts you use to deprive yourself of happiness. You move totally away from reality when you believe that there is a legitimate reason to suffer.” – Byron Katie

2. “You can’t change the fruit without changing the root.” – Stephen R. Covey

3. The world will always proves me “right” in my opinion of myself and others.  Practice holding a Higher opinion for yourself and those around you…

4. Refuse to cater to low-energy mental activity. Be determined to unquestionably place your thoughts not on what you can’t do, but on what you intend to create. Stay in this mind-set and you’ll never want to use the low-energy excuse again. ~ Wayne Dyer

“Ultimately, what is real can’t be seen or heard or thought or grasped. You’re just seeing your own eyes, hearing your own ears, reacting to the world of imagination. It’s all created by your mind in the first place. You name it, you create it, you give it meaning upon meaning, upon meaning. You add the what to reality, and then you add the why. It’s all you. The original is wiped out in the wave of the new, which is already old. Thought deletes anything outside itself.” ~ Byron Katie

Our inner purpose is to awaken. We share that purpose with every other seeming person on the planet, because it is the purpose of dream of humanity.

We carry inside us the wonders we seek outside us….

You cannot see your reflection in running water, only in still water. ~ Zen Proverb

What matters is how quickly you do what your soul directs

Thoughts and Quotes for Today 5.31.13 May 31, 2013

1. “The worst loneliness is to not be comfortable with yourself.”― Mark Twain

2. “Then Universe is not outside you…. Look inside yourself; everything that you want, you already ARE.” ~ Rumi

3. Relationship as a Spiritual Path:  One of the paradoxes of relationship is that we give our power away to others in order to learn to honor ourselves more completely. We become co-dependent with others in order to learn how to have better boundaries. We blame others so that we can learn to be gentle with ourselves and forgive our own mistakes. It is all a set-up.
We look for love and happiness through others to learn that we can find love and happiness only in our own hearts and minds.

Being in a relationship helps us learn to stand alone. The “We” is an incubator for the “I,” or true Self. When the true Self is actualized by both people, the spiritual purpose of the partnership is fulfilled. ~ Everyday Wisdom by Paul Ferrini

4. Can you love someone who does not need you, or do you need to be needed? All that need business is just body/ego stuff. There is nothing enlightened about it. On the other hand, the joy of heaven is increased when two or more are aware of the love that each already has and is, and they come together to share that love. It is not about need. It is about sharing and joining in the love that is already in the awareness of each. Thanks Benny

3. When we have realized the Truth of who we ARE, rather than what we have conditioned ourselves to believe we are, we will be smiling in every cell of our Being. And it is infectious.

4. Peace… It does not mean we are in a place where there is no noise, challenges or hard work. It means to be in the midst of these things and still be calm in our hearts…
