Review and Renew With Gratitude:

No matter what my current reality is – no matter how frustrating, painful, threatening or terrifying it is in the moment – there is one thing I know I can count on: THE MAJORITY OF LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL AND WORKS. My problem, and I’m sure this happens to others, is that in times of perceived trouble, I don;t always see the beauty. It’s not that it isn’t there, it’s just that I don’t see through the morass of my own reality to the underlying perfection that always resides.

It amazes me how situation-centric and myopic I can be about distressing things; how I can sit in the midst of beauty and focus entirely as what I view as uncomfortable. Even as I write this, an issue in my life is weighing heavily on me, and I know that if I intend to live aware and grateful, I must take steps to right this situation. This does not mean I need to fix it, rectify it or reason through it (although all of those things will eventually be required). What it means is that I need to put it into perspective with everything else. The sun still shines, the leaves are budding, I am healthy and vibrant, my life is good and at times such as these, it is an absolute necessity to bring my focus to the whole of my life and not just one isolated circumstance.

Now is the time to review and renew that old mantra I was taught as a child to use as a tool. Now is the time to “STOP, LOOK AND LISTEN.” Stop obsessing on a situation, stop justifying my stance, stop replaying it over and over and stop complaining about it. Look around. Look at the beauty, the vibrancy, the abundance, the light. And listen – listen to that inner voice that calls forward the gift of life, being and joy. Love, peace, beauty, energy, abundance and light surround me and await my recognition of it. Suddenly the situation – whether health, wealth, creative expression or relationship – takes on the proportion it deserves instead of the bulk I have bestowed upon it. Suddenly life is filled yet again with beauty. The situation did not change; my perspective changed, and my perspective is what creates the quality of my life experience. BLESSINGS. ~Dr. Kenn Gordon ~ Science of Mind

ACIM tells us that all healing is essentially the release from fear. Too many metaphysicians focus on the world of appearances as evidence of something. They are just appearances. There are people with healthy bodies living in fear and torment – and people with sick “dying” bodies who experience tremendous peace and joy. “Judge not according to appearances.” Neither wealth or poverty are about dollars. The external world is ever-changing and cannot tell us much of anything about the inner world of a person. This is why we’ve focused so much on the lesson, “I want the peace of God.” ~ Jacob Glass

Thank You for those who participated in our 30 Day Commitment to Peace… I know we will continue on this journey together… Much Love to US always, Faith

Things Fall Apart : Sometimes life comes in waves and each wave is a purification, a dissolution of attachments. Old boundaries, old roles, old beliefs and values, old images of self are altered or erased, and a new territory is mapped. The things that used to be so important to us cease to be so important. Everything appears to be different now. But something is not different. Something deep inside of us remains the same. Indeed, it comes into sharp focus now. That is where we must go to re-center and find direction. That is where we find the foundation  on which we can rebuild our lives. ~ Paul Ferrini

Stay in Your Own Life: Don’t make decisions for other people. That will just take the focus away from your life. Let others find their own way. Support them. Encourage them. Cheer them on. But don’t think you know what’s good for them. You don’t know. When you take inappropriate responsibility for others, you overextend and weaken yourself. Don’t do that. Let others live their lives. Stay in your own life and make your own decisions. Put your attention where it belongs. Listen to your guidance, honor it, act on it, and be committed to it. That is a full time job.  ~ Everyday Wisdom by Paul Ferrini

1. Happiness is not something that you get in life. Happiness is something that you bring to Life.

2. “I’ve got nothing to do today but smile.” ~ Paul Simon.

3. The game of love is so easy to fall prey to because it appears to be so close to what Love actually is, but its not ! Love does not use another, nor does it hide the best part for last, or keep you waiting for it. Love is full on love and you know it when you ARE it. If a companion is meant to be in your life, it will be because you are ready to give/receive the love that you ARE, not because you are going to get ‘love’.

4. What you focus on will manifest. What you resist will persist because you are focusing on it. If you try to solve problems by focusing on them you will likely be perpetuating them. A good way to deal with problems is to trust in, and expect, a miracle. And then stop focusing on them. Trust is the operative factor. If there is something you need to do, you will be told and/or gently lead. Another way to deal with problems is to recognize that you have no problems.

1. Your Essence: Your essence is unbroken, whole, dynamic and creative.  It but awaits your trust. ~ Paul Ferrini

2. It is not so much a matter of seeking as it is a matter of allowing, recognizing and accepting what is, has always been, and will always be. It is not so much seeking as it is a matter of stepping back and getting out of the way. ~ Thanks Benny YOU ROCK

3. If we so much as think a negative unloving thought about another they can feel it, and at some level they know it. This blocks the light and delays the work of this Great Awakening. Don’t do that. As we see and think of another, we see and think of our self.

4. If our focus is on the world we see around us, or on concerns about the body/ego identity that we think we are, then sadness and despair is likely to be our experience. If our focus is on the light and peace within, and we allow that inner light to shine on the world that we see, then our experience is going to be joyful. Joy is always associated with that inner radiance.
