Once you commit and are determined to seek and serve only God/Good/Divine Love/Source and the greater good your whole act gets cleaned up. Addictions to substances and hurtful relationships easily fall away. Your needs are miraculously met. Your way of serving only separate interests is lost, but a new way is made straight and all obstacles removed. It’s no longer about the survival and comfort of a separate little you – it’s about healing a bigger all-inclusive YOU.

Thoughts and Quotes for Today 12.13.13 December 13, 2013

1. I am doing this to myself. Everything I experience I have asked for and received as per my request. Yet, everything that happens is carefully planned by one whose only purpose is my good – even what seem to be the bad things that happen. How I see and experience the stuff that happens is what I am doing to myself. Which is why I am learning to choose again – to make better choices in how I see and react to the stuff that seems to happen.  Thanks Benny

2. While we are preoccupied with our special relationships and the activities of the day, there is something else. We’re missing it! The Voice of Spirit/Source can be heard, but we are not listening. The pure light of the real world can be seen but that is not what we choose to see. The love of God/Source/Creator/Universe can be felt but we have blocked it from our awareness. While we are busy defending that which we mistakenly think we are, there is something else. If we really knew what we were missing we would drop everything and give it our full attention. There is something else – something expansive and more – even now – a complete alternative to what seems to have captured our awareness.

3. “When we’re true to ourselves, we become instruments of truth for the planet. Because we’re all connected, we touch the lives of everyone around us, who then affect others. Our only obligation is to be the love we are and allow our answers to come from within in the way that’s most appropriate for us.

Finally, I can’t stress enough how important it is to enjoy yourself and not take yourself or life too seriously. One of the biggest flaws with many traditional spiritual systems is that they give you such a somber outlook. Although you know that I abhor creating doctrines, if I ever had to create a set of tenets for a spiritual path to healing, number one on my list would be to make sure to laugh as often as possible throughout every single day—and preferably laugh at myself. This would be hands down over and above any form of prayer, meditation, chanting, or diet reform. Day-to-day problems never seem as big when viewed through a veil of humor and love.

In this age of information technology, we’re bombarded with news seemingly at the speed of light. We’re living in an age of high stress and fear, and in the midst of trying to protect ourselves from everything we think is “out there,” we’ve forgotten to enjoy ourselves and to take care of what’s inside.

Our life is our prayer. It’s our gift to this universe, and the memories we leave behind when we someday exit this world will be our legacy to our loved ones. We owe it to ourselves and to everyone around us to be happy and to spread that joy around.
If we can go through life armed with humor and the realization that we are love, we’ll already be ahead of the game. Add a box of good chocolates into the mix, and we’ve really got a winning formula!” ~ Anita Moorjani from Dying to be Me

1. Sometimes we hold a core belief that is very strong. When we are presented with evidence that works against that belief, the new evidence cannot be accepted. It would create a feeling that is extremely uncomfortable called cognitive dissonance. And because it is so important to protect the core belief, we will rationalize, ignore and even deny anything that does not fit in with the core belief.

2. Mind offers you a life with death at the end of it. But the Heart offers you life without end. You choose. If you choose Heart, then you become Heart. When you become Heart, mind will also become Heart. But you must make the first move. ~ Mooji

3. When Christ warned us that we cannot serve two masters, I believe he was talking about Love or fear. There comes a time when messing around with Mr. In-Between, a little of both, becomes intolerable. I’ve reached that point. No more serving fear as if it was my master, holding hands with it, and gripping it as if it offered me safety and structure in the world. I’m holding hands with the ways of love. ARE YOU WITH ME? Thanks Scott

4. Learning to say No Clearly: When you don’t want to do something, say “no” clearly. A simple “no” said clearly from the heart can prevent the drama of self-abuse. When we no longer betray ourselves by saying “yes” when we want to say “no”, we will no longer attract people into our life who will disrespect our boundaries. ~ Paul Ferrini

5. There is NO cruelty in God/Creator/Spirit/Source therefore there is NONE in ME…

Grateful Heart

Heading over to Sequim, Port Townsend, Port Angeles, Washington so today is another travel day… so I thought I would share this WONDERFUL message from Jacob Glass

POUR FORTH THE OIL by Jacob Glass

“You can wait, delay, paralyze yourself, or reduce your creativity
almost to nothing. But you cannot abolish it.”
– A Course in Miracles

Like your Divine Parent, you are a born creator. It is your nature to be creative, and creators create. When you are not creating, you will tend to feel less joyful and less alive because you are denying who and what you are. And that in itself is a key point – create from JOY and to stimulate JOY rather than to try to achieve, accomplish or get something. All of that frequently happens when you create, but it is not the point. Create because it is your Divine Destiny to do so.

Writers write. Lovers love. Mothers mother. Painters paint. Singers sing. Farmers farm. Teachers teach. Runners run. Researchers research. And each of you have a multitude of roles to play. You must keep pouring forth creativity from within, FOR YOUR OWN SAKE, because it is an expression of the One Life, the One Mind, AS YOU. The only reason you sometimes lack joy in this is because you have allowed the ego thought system to pervert this process with myths about competition, finite resources, getting something out of it, SELLING, bartering, marketing, branding, forcing, sacrificing, schedules, worldly expectations, suffering and a whole litany of lies used to terrify you into creative paralysis. DO NOT LET EGO STEAL YOUR JOY! JOY is the attracting factor in your life.

Go back to the well again every day to draw from the Infiinite SOURCE of all creativity and drink from the JOYOUS Living Waters. Then, when you come back to the world, begin to pour forth from within you whatever is your daily portion – GIVE IT OUT from within you freely and joyfully. Creators create whether anyone is noticing, paying attention, giving praise, paying or not. Is is your nature to bring forth what is within you whether the world notices or not. And the more you do this, the happier you will become.

“Every day of our lives, in some form or other, we meet with the same problem which the poor widow faced when Elijah said, “Bring me, I pray thee, a morsel of bread,” and perhaps we may feel just as destitute as did she. Fortunately for her, she had enough spiritual intuition to understand his request; and so when she answered that she had, “but a handful of meal in a barrel, and a little oil in a cruse,” the great Hebrew master told her to make him a little cake first because “the barrel of meal shall not waste, neither shall the cruse of oil fail.” She OBEYED. She took her cruse of oil with its few drops and began to pour, and it never ran dry because to the few drops that she had were added more and  more.” – Joel Goldsmith, Our Spiritual Resources

Each day you must  pour forth what you can because YOU ARE a Creator, and you must create from what is within you. You MUST LET IT OUT, you must prime the pump. And the more you pour forth, the more there will be. As a Creator, you do not deplete your resources – in fact, what you do not use, you tend to lose – but never all of it. You can reduce it almost to nothing, but you cannot abolish it. When you have creatively seemed to run dry, it is almost always because you have forgotten about the JOY and have become distracted by calendars, clocks, contracts, deadlines, finances, chores, reputuation and the thousands of ego distraction that tell you who you are NOT instead of who you ARE.

Each day is your own unique co-creation with the Life in you and around you. What will you pour forth today from this JOYOUS Source?

Freedom to be YOU

1. Each relationship is as holy/Wholly as I will allow it to be. The only thing lacking in any relationship is what I have failed to give. An unholy relationship is when no Light or Love extends from me at all.

2. God/Creator/Spirit/Divine Source can plan for your happiness better than you can, and did. Now what are you going to do – wait for Gods’ plan to manifest some person, thing, situation or event to make for your happiness? That is not how it works. The love and happiness that you seek is not dependent on anything outside of you. It is within – it is already there. The thing that you seek, or are waiting for, IS what you already ARE….  thanks Benny

3. Love is the bridge between you and everything. ~ Rumi

4. We all fear change and the risks it carries, but I have to say that everything significant I’ve ever experienced has involved change. Our soul wants to expand and grow. When we stay with the familiar, just because it is familiar, we are responding to a fear of failure that doesn’t support our growth. ~ Wayne Dyer

We are ALL in this together
