1. Sometimes we hold a core belief that is very strong. When we are presented with evidence that works against that belief, the new evidence cannot be accepted. It would create a feeling that is extremely uncomfortable called cognitive dissonance. And because it is so important to protect the core belief, we will rationalize, ignore and even deny anything that does not fit in with the core belief.

2. Mind offers you a life with death at the end of it. But the Heart offers you life without end. You choose. If you choose Heart, then you become Heart. When you become Heart, mind will also become Heart. But you must make the first move. ~ Mooji

3. When Christ warned us that we cannot serve two masters, I believe he was talking about Love or fear. There comes a time when messing around with Mr. In-Between, a little of both, becomes intolerable. I’ve reached that point. No more serving fear as if it was my master, holding hands with it, and gripping it as if it offered me safety and structure in the world. I’m holding hands with the ways of love. ARE YOU WITH ME? Thanks Scott

4. Learning to say No Clearly: When you don’t want to do something, say “no” clearly. A simple “no” said clearly from the heart can prevent the drama of self-abuse. When we no longer betray ourselves by saying “yes” when we want to say “no”, we will no longer attract people into our life who will disrespect our boundaries. ~ Paul Ferrini

5. There is NO cruelty in God/Creator/Spirit/Source therefore there is NONE in ME…

1. To undo one belief is to undo thousands of years of time. ~ Byron Katie

2. How I wish to see any situation often becomes what I see. It is either with the mind of Love, or I allow fear to lead me.  We are always giving meaning to the world we see…

3. While I do what I LOVE, financial abundance flows through me.

4. Our teacher will meet us wherever we think we are and set the bar a reachable distance above that point. More often than not our greatest teacher is our daily life.

1. Finding the Light Within: You are the light of the world, but you do not know it because you have not looked deeply enough into your own heart. Take a moment to look. Take a moment to find the light that dances in dark night within.

See those deep colors penetrating the black clouds, the hands of light reaching to the horizon. Until you can see the light in yourself you cannot bring it to the world. ~ Everyday Wisdom by Paul Ferrini

2. When I am unhappy and fearful – when I experience pain and suffering of any kind, it is only because I listened to the lies of the ego and allowed myself to believe in illusions.

3.  Rampages of Appreciation by Jacob Glass

T H E    P O W E R   O F   N O W

A consciousness of wanting, creates a consciousness of greater and greater wanting. A Gratitude Consciousness creates more and more appreciation and gratitude. The ego is only interested in loss and what is not here, with small breaks during which it is focused on what it would like to get rid of. It is yet another major way that the ego has plans to ruin your joy in THIS moment.

Gratitude is the fastest way to abundance NOW because it has the audacity to be grateful even in times that the ego finds totally unacceptable. Gratitude is perhaps the simplest and fastest neutralizer of fear and worry. It is a way to take back the power of now because gratitude is experienced in the now. Too often, we don’t know what we’ve got til it’s gone, as the song says. The pattern this sets up is, dissatisfied in the present, regretful about the past, worried about the future. This is  how ego steals our joy.

Additionally, gratitude clears the way for love. The Course says, “for can love be far behind a grateful heart and thankful mind?” The more grateful we are, the more loving we tend to become. The more ungrateful we are, the harder and more critical we become. Abraham talks about going on “rampages of appreciation” each day as a way to quickly move up the emotional/vibrational scale. This is also a major ABUNDANCE PRACTICE. True abundance is not about the endless acquisition of more and more things and experiences – it is fully experiencing and savoring whatever is already here. You might not even be aware of how truly wealthy and abudnant you are in this moment because you are so focused on some imaginary future moment.

Neutralize all fear, worry and darkness today with frequent rampages of appreciation. You may even want to get a journal and start to LITERALLY list and COUNT your blessings each month. Make it a game with yourself in which you try to beat your record each month. These are the games that happy children play.

1. Forgiveness is when you don’t hang onto it anymore. You let it go. That way it can’t hold you back. This is no trivial spiritual practice. If you let it go, the past disappears, and without a past there is no future (which is a projection of the past). The window into eternity, which is now, opens and you are free. ~ Thanks Benny

2. “When you say or do anything to please, get, keep, influence, or control anyone or anything, fear is the cause and pain is the result. Manipulation is separation, and separation is painful. Another person can love you totally in that moment, and you’d have no way of realizing it. If you act from fear, there’s no way you can receive love, because you’re trapped in a thought about what you have to do for love. Every stressful thought separates you from people.” – Byron Katie

3. Do you really want to erase all your deluded beliefs, memories, stories, tendencies and identities one by one, or would you prefer to find the factory where they are produced, and blow the whole thing up? I say this because right now, I don’t have time for all this tiny pruning. You hold on to your little nail clipper, but I am giving you a great chainsaw to bring down this old tree of suffering. This chainsaw is self-inquiry. This is your good fortune. ~ Mooji

4. Making Friends with the Child Within: When you make friends with the child within, s/he stops trying to manipulate and control others to get love and acceptance and asks you for love directly. When the child within knows that s/he is loved, her hurt, fear and sadness fade away. Her sense of separation is bridged.

Something happens when the child knows that s/he is loved, but it can’t happen unless s/he knows that love is what s/he wants and s/he has the courage to ask for it. ~ Everyday Wisdom by Paul Ferrini (This is ALWAYS while knowing that giving and receiving is the SAME and everything I give, I give to mySelf)

1. A wise physician said “The best medicine for humans is LOVE.” Someone then asked – “What if it doesn’t work?” The physician smiled and answered – “Increase the dose”

2. “When I accept my role and allow it to play it self out, I do not confuse who I AM with the character I play!!!”

3. Truth can only be experienced. It cannot be described and it cannot be explained. ~ A Course In Miracles

4. “When the Japanese mend broken objects, they aggrandize the damage by filling the cracks with gold. The believe that when something’s suffered damage and has a history it becomes more beautiful.” ~ Billie Mobayed

“It turned out this man worked for the Dalai Lama. And he said gently-that they believe when a lot of things start going wrong all at once, it is to protect something big and lovely that is trying to get itself born-and that this something needs for you to be distracted so that it can be born as perfectly as possible.” ~Anne Lamott

5. Top 5 regrets of the dying…

1. I wish I’d had the courage to live a life true to myself, not the life others expected of me.

“This was the most common regret of all. When people realize that their life is almost over and look back clearly on it, it is easy to see how many dreams have gone unfulfilled. Most people had not honored even a half of their dreams and had to die knowing that it was due to choices they had made, or not made. Health brings a freedom very few realize, until they no longer have it.”

2. I wish I hadn’t worked so hard.

“This came from every male patient that I nursed. They missed their children’s youth and their partner’s companionship. Women also spoke of this regret, but as most were from an older generation, many of the female patients had not been breadwinners. All of the men I nursed deeply regretted spending so much of their lives on the treadmill of a work existence.”

3. I wish I’d had the courage to express my feelings.

“Many people suppressed their feelings in order to keep peace with others. As a result, they settled for a mediocre existence and never became who they were truly capable of becoming. Many developed illnesses relating to the bitterness and resentment they carried as a result.”

4. I wish I had stayed in touch with my friends.

“Often they would not truly realize the full benefits of old friends until their dying weeks and it was not always possible to track them down. Many had become so caught up in their own lives that they had let golden friendships slip by over the years. There were many deep regrets about not giving friendships the time and effort that they deserved. Everyone misses their friends when they are dying.”

5. I wish that I had let myself be happier.

”This is a surprisingly common one. Many did not realize until the end that happiness is a choice. They had stayed stuck in old patterns and habits. The so-called ‘comfort’ of familiarity overflowed into their emotions, as well as their physical lives. Fear of change had them pretending to others, and to their selves, that they were content, when deep within, they longed to laugh properly and have silliness in their life again.”

1. Happiness is your nature. It is not wrong to desire it. What is wrong is seeking it outside when it is inside. ~ Sri Ramana Maharshi ~

2. Somebody is trying to usurp your control, authority and power? There are things like money and even the well-being of yourself and loved ones at stake? What to do? Well, if nothing Real can be threatened, then whatever you think is at stake, probably is of no value. And if you are willing to turn your will and life over to God (Holy Spirit/Divine Love/Source) then you do not need to maintain control. So, what’s the problem? Now you can RELAX and even let go of that grievance.

3. We may think we need to find an answer in order to have peace of mind. But if we choose peace of mind now, we will have an answer. On a path of growth, we don’t get rid of chaos. We learn how to dance in the uncertainty, breathe through fire, and discover strengths we never knew we had.

4. Beliefs are like stepping stones. They provide us with some temporary stability until we  find a better one with a more inclusive viewpoint. If we cling to a belief we’ll never experience our life completely.
