The Plan for Your Awakening: Everything that happens to you is part of the plan for your awakening, including those challenging events that force you to shift out of your inertia and self-limiting behavior patterns. From the depth of your soul, you call out for growth. You pray to be released from your burdens and to discover and express your gifts. From deep within your pain you call for peace. From deep within your co-dependency, you call for the courage and the freedom to be yourself. ~ Paul Ferrini

I eventually came to understand that in harboring anger, the bitterness and resentment towards those that had hurt me, I was giving the reins of control over to them. Forgiving was not about accepting their words and deeds. Forgiving was about letting go and moving on with my life. In doing so, I had finally set myself free. ~ Thanks Ricky

You cannot simply transcend the world. You have to transform it. Peace in the midst of chaos is great, but if there is chaos anywhere that is your mind too. Look within first, and once you gain that shift in awareness – that different perspective, then take that with you as you look out on the world (an outward picturing of your state of mind). That is the way you transform the world – that is how you become the savior of the world – by seeing it differently – by seeing it instead of projecting it. ~ Thanks Benny

Each moment, every meeting today brings with it the potential to remember who I am/ we are in Love, in God.
Every sigh of relief sounded today by anyone in the undoing of guilt or fear , releases me along with them.
Every gentle glance of kindness reminds me of the perfect love that made all that is or could ever be.

ACIM tells us that all healing is essentially the release from fear. Too many metaphysicians focus on the world of appearances as evidence of something. They are just appearances. There are people with healthy bodies living in fear and torment – and people with sick “dying” bodies who experience tremendous peace and joy. “Judge not according to appearances.” Neither wealth or poverty are about dollars. The external world is ever-changing and cannot tell us much of anything about the inner world of a person. This is why we’ve focused so much on the lesson, “I want the peace of God.” ~ Jacob Glass
