1. The thoughts in our mind are guideposts to the road we choose to travel. Thanks Pamela

2. Most of us are obsessed with worry about our future, but this is why many of us live joyless lives. However, when we can find joy in the present moment and every present moment from here on, we are creating a joyful future. ~ Anita Moorjani

3. I have made Peace with the ego thought system, saying words like “silly girl, you could choose Peace instead of this”  and I have found the ego thoughts have less and less power in life..

4. “What counts in making a happy marriage is not so much how compatible you are, but how you deal with incompatibility.” ~ George Levinger

5.  “People think a soul mate is your perfect fit, and that’s what everyone wants. But a true soul mate is a mirror, the person who shows you everything that is holding you back, the person who brings you to your own attention so you can change your life.

A true soul mate is probably the most important person you’ll ever meet, because they tear down your walls and smack you awake. But to live with a soul mate forever? Nah. Too painful. Soul mates, they come into your life just to reveal another layer of yourself to you, and then leave.

A soul mates purpose is to shake you up, tear apart your ego a little bit, show you your obstacles and addictions, break your heart open so new light can get in, make you so desperate and out of control that you have to transform your life, then introduce you to your spiritual master…” -Elizabeth Gilbert ‘Eat Pray Love’

1. Remove blame from your vocabulary. Catch yourself when you find yourself using your past history as a reason for your failure to act today, and instead say, “I am free now to detach myself from what I used to be.” ~ Wayne Dyer

2. “Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life.” Confucius

3. “Most of the shadows of life are caused by standing in our own sunshine.” – Ralph Waldo Emerson

4. Simple Truths by Jacob Glass

Being afraid, desperate, needy and worried is the extreme opposite of being open to receive. Have you ever tried to contribute to a completely frantic person? It’s extremely difficult. They are not in the right state of mind. And this is why RELAXATION is so important as preparation for miracles.

It sounds ridiculous and trite to say, but in order to prepare for our good we need to:

 C A L M   D O W N   A N D   C H E E R   U P !

This is difficult for an undisciplined mind to do. We are so used to wanting the SITUATION to calm us down and cheer us up.  We want the world to do our work for us. But we all know by now that this is simply not going to happen. WE have to take our own emotional journey FIRST in order to be RECEPTIVE to our good.

This is what the vibrational cleanup helps with so much. We take responsibility for our ATTITUDES and for our thinking. We STIMULATE our own joy in whatever ways we can at the moment. We calm down and cheer up by petting the cat, singing HAPPY songs instead of the victim songs, watching comedies, running the dog on the beach, having a massage, delivering food to the hungry, doing lists of positive aspects, going on rampages of appreciation, doing some physical exercise, wearing something that makes us feel cute or sexy or elegant or whatever good feeling we want to feel, cleaning up the clutter around the house, watching the sunrise or sunset, making lists of “wouldn’t it be nice if . . . “, cooking a meal for friends, milking and savoring the good each day, giving a compliment to someone, looking in the mirror and saying, “Hey cutie, we’re going to have a wonderful day today and fabulous little miracles are going to happen all day long.”

Just make a start, right where you are. It’s not about overwhelming ourselves with trying to “turn over a whole new leaf” at once. Keep it simple. We are simply massaging our thoughts to a better feeling place, one thought at a time. We are soothing ourselves into the state of receptivity to a miraculous mindset.

1. Finding the Light Within: You are the light of the world, but you do not know it because you have not looked deeply enough into your own heart. Take a moment to look. Take a moment to find the light that dances in dark night within.

See those deep colors penetrating the black clouds, the hands of light reaching to the horizon. Until you can see the light in yourself you cannot bring it to the world. ~ Everyday Wisdom by Paul Ferrini

2. When I am unhappy and fearful – when I experience pain and suffering of any kind, it is only because I listened to the lies of the ego and allowed myself to believe in illusions.

3.  Rampages of Appreciation by Jacob Glass

T H E    P O W E R   O F   N O W

A consciousness of wanting, creates a consciousness of greater and greater wanting. A Gratitude Consciousness creates more and more appreciation and gratitude. The ego is only interested in loss and what is not here, with small breaks during which it is focused on what it would like to get rid of. It is yet another major way that the ego has plans to ruin your joy in THIS moment.

Gratitude is the fastest way to abundance NOW because it has the audacity to be grateful even in times that the ego finds totally unacceptable. Gratitude is perhaps the simplest and fastest neutralizer of fear and worry. It is a way to take back the power of now because gratitude is experienced in the now. Too often, we don’t know what we’ve got til it’s gone, as the song says. The pattern this sets up is, dissatisfied in the present, regretful about the past, worried about the future. This is  how ego steals our joy.

Additionally, gratitude clears the way for love. The Course says, “for can love be far behind a grateful heart and thankful mind?” The more grateful we are, the more loving we tend to become. The more ungrateful we are, the harder and more critical we become. Abraham talks about going on “rampages of appreciation” each day as a way to quickly move up the emotional/vibrational scale. This is also a major ABUNDANCE PRACTICE. True abundance is not about the endless acquisition of more and more things and experiences – it is fully experiencing and savoring whatever is already here. You might not even be aware of how truly wealthy and abudnant you are in this moment because you are so focused on some imaginary future moment.

Neutralize all fear, worry and darkness today with frequent rampages of appreciation. You may even want to get a journal and start to LITERALLY list and COUNT your blessings each month. Make it a game with yourself in which you try to beat your record each month. These are the games that happy children play.

Only Purpose be your Self

1. Forgiveness is when you don’t hang onto it anymore. You let it go. That way it can’t hold you back. This is no trivial spiritual practice. If you let it go, the past disappears, and without a past there is no future (which is a projection of the past). The window into eternity, which is now, opens and you are free. ~ Thanks Benny

2. “When you say or do anything to please, get, keep, influence, or control anyone or anything, fear is the cause and pain is the result. Manipulation is separation, and separation is painful. Another person can love you totally in that moment, and you’d have no way of realizing it. If you act from fear, there’s no way you can receive love, because you’re trapped in a thought about what you have to do for love. Every stressful thought separates you from people.” – Byron Katie

3. Do you really want to erase all your deluded beliefs, memories, stories, tendencies and identities one by one, or would you prefer to find the factory where they are produced, and blow the whole thing up? I say this because right now, I don’t have time for all this tiny pruning. You hold on to your little nail clipper, but I am giving you a great chainsaw to bring down this old tree of suffering. This chainsaw is self-inquiry. This is your good fortune. ~ Mooji

4. Making Friends with the Child Within: When you make friends with the child within, s/he stops trying to manipulate and control others to get love and acceptance and asks you for love directly. When the child within knows that s/he is loved, her hurt, fear and sadness fade away. Her sense of separation is bridged.

Something happens when the child knows that s/he is loved, but it can’t happen unless s/he knows that love is what s/he wants and s/he has the courage to ask for it. ~ Everyday Wisdom by Paul Ferrini (This is ALWAYS while knowing that giving and receiving is the SAME and everything I give, I give to mySelf)

Heading over to Sequim, Port Townsend, Port Angeles, Washington so today is another travel day… so I thought I would share this WONDERFUL message from Jacob Glass

POUR FORTH THE OIL by Jacob Glass

“You can wait, delay, paralyze yourself, or reduce your creativity
almost to nothing. But you cannot abolish it.”
– A Course in Miracles

Like your Divine Parent, you are a born creator. It is your nature to be creative, and creators create. When you are not creating, you will tend to feel less joyful and less alive because you are denying who and what you are. And that in itself is a key point – create from JOY and to stimulate JOY rather than to try to achieve, accomplish or get something. All of that frequently happens when you create, but it is not the point. Create because it is your Divine Destiny to do so.

Writers write. Lovers love. Mothers mother. Painters paint. Singers sing. Farmers farm. Teachers teach. Runners run. Researchers research. And each of you have a multitude of roles to play. You must keep pouring forth creativity from within, FOR YOUR OWN SAKE, because it is an expression of the One Life, the One Mind, AS YOU. The only reason you sometimes lack joy in this is because you have allowed the ego thought system to pervert this process with myths about competition, finite resources, getting something out of it, SELLING, bartering, marketing, branding, forcing, sacrificing, schedules, worldly expectations, suffering and a whole litany of lies used to terrify you into creative paralysis. DO NOT LET EGO STEAL YOUR JOY! JOY is the attracting factor in your life.

Go back to the well again every day to draw from the Infiinite SOURCE of all creativity and drink from the JOYOUS Living Waters. Then, when you come back to the world, begin to pour forth from within you whatever is your daily portion – GIVE IT OUT from within you freely and joyfully. Creators create whether anyone is noticing, paying attention, giving praise, paying or not. Is is your nature to bring forth what is within you whether the world notices or not. And the more you do this, the happier you will become.

“Every day of our lives, in some form or other, we meet with the same problem which the poor widow faced when Elijah said, “Bring me, I pray thee, a morsel of bread,” and perhaps we may feel just as destitute as did she. Fortunately for her, she had enough spiritual intuition to understand his request; and so when she answered that she had, “but a handful of meal in a barrel, and a little oil in a cruse,” the great Hebrew master told her to make him a little cake first because “the barrel of meal shall not waste, neither shall the cruse of oil fail.” She OBEYED. She took her cruse of oil with its few drops and began to pour, and it never ran dry because to the few drops that she had were added more and  more.” – Joel Goldsmith, Our Spiritual Resources

Each day you must  pour forth what you can because YOU ARE a Creator, and you must create from what is within you. You MUST LET IT OUT, you must prime the pump. And the more you pour forth, the more there will be. As a Creator, you do not deplete your resources – in fact, what you do not use, you tend to lose – but never all of it. You can reduce it almost to nothing, but you cannot abolish it. When you have creatively seemed to run dry, it is almost always because you have forgotten about the JOY and have become distracted by calendars, clocks, contracts, deadlines, finances, chores, reputuation and the thousands of ego distraction that tell you who you are NOT instead of who you ARE.

Each day is your own unique co-creation with the Life in you and around you. What will you pour forth today from this JOYOUS Source?

Freedom to be YOU

1. Breaking the Cycle of Violence:

If you are triggered by someone, acknowledge your reactivity. Don’t react and attack. Don’t blame. Don’t project.

Don’t try to make someone else responsible for what you are thinking or feeling.
Own your thoughts and feelings totally. Say “This is about me, not about you.
This is what is happening for me right now.”  That is how the cycle of violence is broken. ~ Everyday Wisdom by Paul Ferrini

2. A willingness to be open to the Light that shows us a different way of seeing comes from recognizing that we do not know.

3. Today We Affirm:

I have two worlds to choose from each moment. I can choose the nightmare or the happy dream. In my happy dream I walk about the world giving my attention to all that vibrates with the love frequency. Everywhere I go, I see evidence of the goodness, kindness and generosity of people – the whole world is my community, my family. I am falling in love with humanity and my heart is melting with joy. Love rises up to greet me today as I walk the streets of the happy dream. ~ Jacob Glass

4. There is a sorting out that is necessary, and it can be confrontational. This is where we enter the temple and the tables of the money changers are sent flying, and the place is swept clean. It is all about the healing of the mind and the angst that is sometimes felt when our thoughts and values are sorted out – when the Truth comes to stand where there were only lies before.

5. There is the most fabulous thing that happens when we decide to be responsible for our own happiness …. we can have as much as we want…

1. “When you no longer put your energy into seeking approval, you can open your arms to criticism and see it as a gift, instead of as something to disprove or defend against. When you’re genuinely humble, there’s no way that criticism can hurt you; it becomes obvious, through your own experience, that it can only help you. This is how clarity takes on life as effective action, so that you are kind to others and kind to yourself. Defense is the first act of war. Through you, I will come to know myself. It’s called integrity. I am all things. If you say one single thing that I have the urge to defend, that thing is the very pearl waiting inside me to be discovered.” Byron Katie

2. Misperception: As long as you do not perceive reality accurately you will attract a correction to that misperception. Often you interpret the correction as an attack.
It isn’t. It is an opportunity for you to see the distortion that fear has created in your thinking and to correct your vision so that you can see what is really there. ~ Everyday Wisdom by Paul Ferrini

3. “And let us rejoice that there is an answer to what seems to be a
conflict with no resolution possible. All things are possible to God.”
– A Course in Miracles

4. “If you feel qualified to judge someone, you really have no mirrors in your home, or in your soul.”
